How is patient data handled?
BurnAid does not store personally identifiable patient information on BurnAid servers.
Any identifiable patient information entered into the app is used only during the active user session. When the user logs out, identifiable patient data from that session is deleted from the app.
BurnAid does not retain this information after logout. However, if the user intentionally saves, downloads, exports, prints, shares, or transfers a report or file outside the app, that copy must be handled securely by the user and their institution in accordance with applicable privacy laws, institutional policies, professional obligations, and patient-consent requirements.
